Skin Growth Removal / Skin Tumor Treatment; One Patient at a Time.
Get to Know me:
I am a board certified internist and medical oncologist (cancer specialist) with special interest in various skin growth disorders, both malignant and benign; such as skin cancers, skin tags, Keloids, scars, angiomas, skin cysts and scalp lumps, etc. All these conditions are due to some sort of uncontrolled skin tissue overgrowth. I have special interest in keloid disorder and have dedicated much of professional time to this particular illness. I am on staff at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in Manhattan. I am an instructor in Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
I utilize various established treatment methods for treating these conditions. Cryotherapy is an integral part of destroying many of these skin lesions. Certain skin spots need to be biopsied to make sure that we are not dealing with a serious skin condition. Those spots that appear completely benign can be destroyed with cryotherapy or other methods.
I treat each and every patient with respect and compassion. I listen to patients, I pay attention to what they say, and allow each and everyone enough time to ask and answer all questions. This is a particular type of mannerism that I have learned and practiced within my primary field of specialty of oncology. I apply the same mannerism to everyone.
